Twenty Questions from Good Life interview

Thanks Heather to recommend me for the Good Life (Missisauaga’s fine living magazine) interview.
There are 20 interesting questions from Steve Uhraney.
Here are my answers for this interview which are on May 2011 Issue.

Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza

My friend AJ told me that:  “… found a picture in Madrid which I think is a great illustration to your “window/mirror” poem… Check it out http://www.museothyssen.org//img/obras_grande/1976.3.jpg ”

And I like the site: Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza.  Thanks.

my new poem:Barren is on the Red River Review (May 2011 Issue)

After the third miscarriage,
your doctor declares–
your womb is too thin.
He crosses out “Hope” in red.
Instead of weeping,
you keep motionless.

Later in the class,
when asking students
to point out problems of our blue planet,
all they care about
is “Second Life”,
you lose your temper.

Infertility.
You feel the shaking
of the earth’s brittle crust.
