The Credits’ Cultural Heritage Award and other good news

It was truly an honour to receive the “Cultural Heritage Award” from Heritage Mississauga. Thanks to Mississauga Arts Council for nominations! Congratulations to all recipients!

I’m delighted to share some other good news!

My new poem, “Dear Sheri-D Wilson,” has been accepted by the Literary Review of Canada, a renowned Canadian magazine.

In addition, my tanka and five haiku will be featured and read in an upcoming issue of Poetry Pea Journal.

I’m also honoured to have been nominated for the 2025 Civic Awards of Recognition and will attend the award night on November 18, 2025.

This Thanksgiving day I want to thank my family, publishers and friends, especially my sponsors for Poetry and Music project. Good news of book review and new publications

A Review of Anna Yin’s Breaking into Blossom by Renée m. Sgroi

how wonderful to read Renée M. Sgroi‘s review of my book, amazing to find another fine poet sees what I cannot see. She selected several poems echoing the ones liked by Dana Gioia. Blanks was accepted by Literary Review of Canada and The Rare Abalone was inspired by current US poet laureate Arthur Sze.

Another of my translations of Yan Li’s work has been showcased for National Translation Month
